Welcome to Charlottetown!
I’ve created this Tumblog as a central place for residents of Charlotte, NC to interact with their city and with each other. If you’re a Tumblr in Charlotte, send an email to bill@smallerthoughts.com and I’ll get you permission to post to this tumblog.
Here are the rules for posting here, so you can get an idea of what to expect. Anyone not following the spirit of these guidelines will have their posting privileges revoked and the post deleted, so what you see below is what you can expect to get.
What we post:
- Announcements of open-to-the-public events around Charlotte
- Interesting media (pictures, audio, movies, etc) that are taken of, performed in, or somehow relate to the Queen City.
- Anything else that may be of interest to or created by Charlotteans.
What we don’t post:
- Anything commercial. Nobody will try to advertise or sell you anything. If you see anything like a sale or free giveaway announcement, it has only been posted as a “heads up” for bargain hunters - we’re not sponsored or affiliated with anyone.
- Events that aren’t open to anyone.
- Anything R-rated.
So that’s the basic idea - an open, friendly, and honest place for Charlotteans to connect and share. Anyone want to get involved?
